Debugging..
We are Learning to debug algorithms. Bugs are a mistake in a programme. If we fix the bug the programme will work.
First: you have to know where it is not.
Remove the bug and fix the trouble it caused.
Change the algorithm to make it right.

Why do stars Twinkle?
Why do stars twinkle?
twinkle twinkle little star
You may be suprised to learn that stars actually never do no twinkling at all!
When you look at a star they are seeing them through the thick layers of air that make up the
earths atmosfrer. When the stars light passes threw these layers of air the light is bent or refracted
diffrently by each layer. This is because of mossturee in the air as well as different air temperatures
and the movement of the air. When you look at a star they are seeing them through the thick layers of air

Computational Thinking
We are learning about computational thinking. We have learnt how to write an algorithm to get a pirate to the treasure chest. We made our own coding programme and challenged a friend to solve it. In order to be successful I had to remember to count how many blocks it took to get my avatar to its chosen place or destination. We call this decomposition and that means we had to break down our instructions into small manageable steps.
