I love the beach!

WALT use language features of persuasive writing

To be successful I will:

rhetorical questions to make my writing interesting
Use emotive language (words about feelings/emotions)

I learnt that persuasive writers ask readers questions. They do this to make the reader interested in their work.

                                                       lets have a protected beach in Northland.

I strongly believe that marine reserves are a good idea. Firstly i think marine reserves are great and magnificent No one can fish there or take anything thing away. isn’t that amazing? You are not allowed to grab anything like fish or kaimoana or paua or kina or oru or fish there. because it is a protected beach secondly i think Northland should have more marine reserves.my last reason marine reserves are only good for swimming you would feel tremendous if you swam in a marine reserve.would you want to swim in a marine reserve?  Or swim in a unprotected beach ? in summary new zealand wants to have more marine reserves it would be delighted.

Should All Rubbish Go To The Dump?

I believe we all should not send rubbish to the dump because you can recycle some.I am going to give you reasons why you could recycle and not put  rubbish into the landfill. My first reason don't throw away rubbish in the landfill like hazardous stuff it could blow up under the ground .My second reason you should not put chemicals into landfills because it could poison your drinking water. So i think all rubbish should be recycled.

this week i am learning to gather sort and display information. we wanted to find out what families at Tautoro school do with their waste.

firstly we created a questionnaire. then we made a tally chart and used google sheets to present the information.One thing that i learnt was to make a tally chart and how to get google sheets and google bars. I done all my work on Google Sheets.

W.A.L.T think about creative ways to promote and teach our values.

we are creative because we used music and we made our own
 song.What  found hard was the scenes.

At the Beach

What I can work on to improve my writing
Vocabulary	Use interesting adjectives (describing words) and similes (use like or as to compare)
Ideas	I will work on adding more detail to my ideas (describing what I did, saw, heard and felt).
Punctuation	To use capital letters after full stops

At the Beach.

In the holiday me my uncle and my cousins went to the beach.it was awesome we bombed we dived it was cool.when i jumped i landed on one of my cousins it was funny.after that we went and got fizzy and fish and chips it was yummy.at the end of the day i felt tired.then we went back home.
